18th September, Monday
We've got Arts @Tanglin rehearsals at S'pore Poly convention centre. A really cool place :D Joseph the musical was held there too, way back in 2004. So, back to the rehearsal. Left class at 8.30am to move the guzheng to the foyer for the lorry to fetch them to SP. Miss Chin's class guys were so nice, they helped us too. Thanks guys. Then there was this lil argument and confusion 'mong us and miss solastri so we had to move the guzheng to this room. And after school, everyone hurried to move their guzheng outta the room, into the bus. And whooo, we were on our way to SP.
Didn't put on make up or whatsoever cos Mrs Ch'ng said it's okay. Then everything went on smoothly till 6 (but for the dancers, they had to stay till 9). Great effort, everyone! After dinner, the rest of the performers waited for the bus while Jiayi, Jiaqi, Sya, Sha and I went back to the auditorium to watch the dancers. Boy, the auditorium is bloody cold. From what Serene said, it's 16 degrees. Oh well. And we had to seek permission to stay on from Mrs Ch'ng. The dancers were superb! :) After the whole thing, we sat the bus (and played Bomb LOL) and dropped off at Clementi with sya and sha.
19th September, TuesdayAfter recess, we went to the Laurel Room to put on makeup and stuff, but I didn't change into the costume cos I'll be havin' choir then guzheng. And guess what? After the military band, I'll have to play a piano piece for trhe of the band memebers hafta get changed for the next item. And rebecca sabo-ed me on stage! Ah. And back to the story. So everyone were looking pretty and stuff (and Jerry being horny. Oh whatever, heh.)
SP. Yay, rehearsal went well, 'cept for the finale, which was a total mess and everyone were like so confused. But we got it in the end. The five of us stayed back to watch the drama, who were gonna rehearse for their big thang for the next day :D Enemy of the People.
20th September, WednesdayDidn't go school. Had a major headache and flu. But I got well by afternoon.
At night. DRAMAAAA! Met up with Jon and Nic at Clementi to wait for Kev. Then headed for Macs to makan. Jon and I brought our uniform for ushering at SP. So, macs. Kev ate ate ate and then Sha came to join us, but we didn't eat. And guess who we saw Macs? MARLENE! So as usual, the guys were teasing her lol. I love her braces! Okay I know it doesn't fit to what I'm talking about haha. Rushed to SP and had to usher in the end. Ushering was seriously hilarious. We were laughing, talking and telling everyone to get their, ahem, asses in. Jolene was so pissed off at some people that she said, Please usher yourslef in. Hah!

Drama was coooool. Jing Ying! She was Larry and Aarti's daughter in the drama. Great performance! (Okay I must confess I was smsing and watching at the same time. Heh.)
And I made a new friend, Nicholas! (Not Nicholas Ng lol)
21st September, Thursday- DA BIG DAY!The BIG BIG DAY! Went to do makeup straight after assembly and we had a great time, taking pics and stuff. And thank you, Xue Fei, for helping me do the makeup :)
After that, we took the bus to SP with dance ensemble. Ran thru the finale with our emcees, REBECCA AND JUSTINE! Then had to practice on our own till 12.30. But we were like, so hell famished so we went to KFC (the whole guzheng team) to makan! :) But we didn't eat the lunch they provided at 12.30. Too full lah. Went to the auditorium and saw Judith, who was gonna play the piano at the interval between dance and guzheng. We practised together then it was time for touchups. And Judith had to go for band. After touchups, I went back to the piano and Judith played the drums to accompany. Pretty cool thing huh ^^ Drums and piano; SUUUUPPPPPEEEER.
At 2.30 was the first show for the primary school kids. Oh, they weren't listening anyway. Haha. They left even before our finale. So I shan't say alot bout them.
After the first show, we had another break and dinner and touchups then it was time for da bigggggggg show. Everyone were hell excited and nervous. At like 6 plus, there were already people coming in and being ushered. I was pacing up and down(yeah,
nervous for the piano thing.) And at 7.30, Rebecca and Justine appeared on stage to welcome the Guest-of-Honour, Mr Foo See Meng. Mrs Oei then had a lil talk, AND SHE MENTIONED GUZHENG!! And then followed by the GOH and then military band played. And it was my turn. At first everyhing was like nervous, I'm bloody nervous. And when I sat down to play, all I thought was just to play. And finish it. Then I didn't feel nervous at all anymore. Zilch of that. It's amazing. And then I met the Urban dancers at backstage and I started shaking non stop, after playing the piano. Shaking so much I forgot to wish em luck >< And I went down, saw Melissa, calmed down alrd and wished her luck. Then I ran to join the choir. After like such a short time, Mr Tan cued us downstairs to prepare for out item. We waited behind the curtains for the interval to end and when it finally did, all of us were praying for everything to go well. Sang "Ah Hah" warmup piece and then "You raise me up". :D And after that, I had to rush backstage to change and touchup for guzheng. After the three great dance performances by contemp, we held onto our guzheng and went on stage while Judith was stalling time for us, outside, playing th piano. Thanks :D It all went well, and finale came so darn quickly. We were all cheering, groovin' and waving. Great emceeing, Rebecca and Justine! ^^
Everyone said guzheng did well and Miss Chin was so freaking high and proud after that. Heh. We rushed to move the guzheng back to school for it was so late alrd. Like, 10.30? The guys form dance ensemble helped us and Jeslyn's mum so nice, she fetched Yang Fei, Audrey and I home :D
